Osteospermum ecklonis 'Margarita Pink Flare' 30 December 2025

 

Those days between Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve I kind of call them the nothing days. I forget what day of the week any of those days might be. Worse of all this 2025 with dark rainy days I feel like staying in bed. The presence of my Portland friend Curtis Daily (he is leaving today late afternoon) has helped to make me a tad more active.

Today as I walked to my oficina I spotted this little margarita. I scanned it and immediately I was cheered up. It is as almost the little flower is communicating with me and telling me not to give up.

Osteospermums were favourites of Rosemary and we planted them (and this one was) in our rose pots as companions. 

And so a little of Rosemary remains today to remind me how lucky I was.
