This image is an unintended (accidental, through ignorance and lack of knowledge of the use of the fussy Noblex Pro 175 U) double exposure. It features Rebecca posing on the shores of the Great Salt Lake from the vantage point of Antelope Island. The second exposure is of the beautiful Bryce Canyon which is also in Utah. Somehow the mashup works. I scanned the negative while setting my scanner at colour negative. Automatically the scanner adds the normal orange mask which results in the hot red colour. The result is a tad different (and I like it more) to scanning the negative normally and then adding red and yellow. I upped the contrast for more of a graphic feel. In spite of her bikini the hair around Rebecca’s face almost makes her look like a Native American spirit that suddenly appeared in front of my camera.
