I can go to a slide show of old and perhaps deal with 50 projections of roses. I might be able to handle the same amount of street shots. My tolerance level decreases if the projections are fireworks, city scapes (at night or day) and no more than 10 slides of caverns.

But I can look at portraits all day and I will never tire of taking them. Here is Holly Suicide (AKA Daniella Ciccone) fanning herself.

To get this look I scan the b+w negative (a 6x7cm one) as if it were a colour negative. The Epson includes that orange mask of all colour negatives.  Then by abusing the shadow/highlight tool of my 13-year-old Photoshop with a bit of contrast tweaking you get what you see here.
