So Many Venues, So Little Time - Why Bother?

Through my years in Vancouver and recently (the Orpheum Annex) I have gone to plays, concerts, operas, dance performances and lots

There is a very nice compact stadium in Burnaby’s Central Park. I
may have overlooked some theatre venue in New
Westminster and probably a few others.
The point of all the above is that I
believe that there are far more venues than possible events. So many of the
above are underused which means that they will eventually have cash flow
problems. People say the city is a no-fun city. I would beg to differ and yet
with so many venues and possible places perhaps it is safer, cheaper and easier
to stay home.
