Christmas 2017 - Third & Last of the Series
Sunday, December 24, 2017
This is the
third and last blog of the Christmas 2017 series.
This has
been the second Christmas in our Kitsilano home. Last year Rebecca was working
on Christmas Eve. This time around she was able to come.
When she came through the door I thought I was looking at a ghost. There seems to be some trend I am ignorant of where women are using this look that I think is ghostly.
It was good to have the whole family at home. The food was just right. The roast beef was nice and rare in the middle and Rosemary’s Yorkshire Puddings were all but consumed. Rebecca brought a red wine. Many of us opted for American Squirt. This was a drink we enjoyed in Mexico. We bought a case in Bellingham.
Presents were opened. In my case I found lots of stuff to consume that is sweet.
Once the family was gone there was that delight of having had them all at the table. But there was also the thought that tomorrow and the next few days we will do nothing. We will stay in bed, read and baby talk to our Casi-Casi.
I was able to lure Lauren for four shots with my iPhone3G in my oficina/studio. I picked the third and gave it the cyanotype treatment.
A merry Christmas to anybody reading this from us.
