Rosa sericea ssp.omiensis f. ptercantha - 24 December 2024

I went to my back lane and noticed that Rosa serícea (etc) had lost most of its leaves. There were just a few left. I appreciated their beauty because Rosemary taught me to see the good in little things.

I mowed the lawn in our large Kerrisdale garden but Rosemary would cut the edge of the lawn where it met with the flower beds with scissors.

With her iPhone on our bed Rosemary was able to plan our trips abroad with great intricacy. She could even get the best airline prices.

In my photography I learned, thanks to Rosemary to look at every corner and background in my portraits before I pressed the shutter.

All in all this 82 year-old-man is the better man he is because of a woman who was into details.
