When I had this show in 1993 I was beginning to think that I was not only a photographer but an artist. Samuel Frid who ran the Threshold Gallery thought so. We put together a show that featured portraits of friends and people I knew.To that I added (conceptual and an installation?) objects related to my subjects like William Gibson's typewriter and Arthur Erickson's pen and drawings.
I believe that I may have been one of the first, in this city with a poor memory, to have such as show. Now at 81 I live in anonymity knowing that I will be rich and famous when I am dead.
