The General Incognito In Civies In My Hood

Many who might read this blog now know I have moved from Vancouver’s Kerrisdale to Vancouver’s Kitsilano.

My Rosemary and I live just two blocks from one of the best neighbourhood shopping areas (no malls!) in town.

Today in one of those rare sunny days we took our Rolser. This is pull (or push) two-wheeled cart where you put your bought groceries and produce.

I was delighted to run into the general who was incognito in civies. He told me “We both now live in the same ‘hood.”

Allan Gray is an extremely gentle and handsome man with a voice to boot. As I often write here, “He could never get a job at the CBC because he does not have a speech impediment or a lisp.”

It’s been a while since I have seen this man in a local play. It seems that he is now making movies.  While this may be good for him it is not good for me or for our local theatre-going public.
So I hope that this absence is remedied soon.
