Nadie te quita lo bailado

Often in these pages I have written about my afán (better in Spanish than its equivalent in English eagerness) to photograph the female nude. I have been doing it for years with the quiet non-involvement of my Rosemary who perhaps understands that it has (or may have) something to do with art.

I could fill stadiums with the scads of photographs I have taken. I believe that some of my latest, like these are far better that my youthful output of years past.

The problem now is that at age 74 I have few subjects to photograph and my approach to potential one can or could be seen as  a 21st century form of sexual harassment.

My grandmother often used to say, “Nadie te quita lo bailado.” It poorly translates to, “Nobody can take away the good times you have had.” At the very least I can say that.
