Untitled - Choreography: Lesley Telford - Arts Umbrella Dance Co.

Today I went to the Arts Umbrella Dance Company Sunday Performance Series 2015.

The extremely professional but almost informal performances included the Arts Umbrella Senior Dance Company, Arts Umbrella C02, the Apprentice Dance Company and as special guests the Victoria Academy of Ballet.

I was particularly startled and completely sucked in by choreographer Lesley Telford’s Untitled performed by the Arts Umbrella Graduate Level dancers with music by Robert Henke Hauschka, and Hildur Gudnadottier.

I was lucky to be sitting on the floor on the corner, stage right where a lot of the action happened. I have decided to dedicate today's blog’s space (the web has lots of it) to this one performance.

A most pleasant surprise (pictures will follow in a later blog) was to find that KerryLynn Turner was in charge of choreography and repititeur work with the Victoria Academy of Ballet. See if you can spot her in the photograph below.
